If you have a separate Roku streaming box—like the Roku Express, Premiere, or Ultra—you can program your RCA universal remote to control it.
CRITICAL: These codes only work for Roku players that have an IR (infrared) receiver. This includes most Roku Express, Roku Premiere, and Roku Ultra models. Most Roku Streaming Sticks (the dongle style) are RF-only and will not work with an RCA remote.
If you need instructions on how to enter these codes, please use our master guide.

Roku Player: Troubleshooting & FAQ
Most Streaming Sticks (models 3500, 3600, 3800, 3810) do not have an IR sensor. They use an RF (Wi-Fi) remote, which RCA remotes cannot control. You must have an IR-enabled player, like the Roku Express.
This is a common setup. You have correctly programmed the “AUX” or “SAT” button for your Roku. Now, you must also program the “TV” button on your remote using the codes for your television’s brand (e.g., Samsung TV codes, LG TV codes, etc.).
No. These codes are for the standalone players. If your TV has Roku built-in, you must use our separate guide for Roku TV codes.
If the codes fail, first try the “Auto-Code Search” from our master guide. If that still doesn’t work, try resetting your RCA remote and power cycling your Roku device (unplug it for 10 seconds and plug it back in) before trying again.
