Troubleshooting & FAQ
The most common reason is that you may have a Roku or Fire TV model. These codes are only for standard Westinghouse TVs. If your TV’s home screen says “Roku” or “Fire TV,” these codes will not work.
If you are sure you have a standard TV, your best solution is to use the “Method 2: Auto-Code Search” from our complete programming guide. This is much more reliable than trying to “program each button manually,” a feature most RCA remotes do not support.
